What is Productive Staffing?   Productive Staffing is a locally owned and operated employment agency that assists people in finding jobs.  We were established in 1996 and our team has helped many people just like you find just the jobs that they are looking for!  Without you, we could not operate!  At Productive Staffing, our team counts on good people just like you to represent us well in our community.  We have all types of jobs and our current openings change on a daily basis.  We never know when a customer may call us and need an employee or several employees right now!  For this reason, we interview applicants every day to ensure that we have the perfect person for each job.

At Productive Staffing, our team is committed to service.  We treat our customers and our employees exactly the way that we wish to be treated.  We strive to constantly improve our level of service.  If you have an opinion regarding how we can serve you better, please let us know!

What types of jobs does Productive Staffing offer?   The types of jobs that we offer vary.  Each customer that we service is very different from the other.  Some customers have peak periods each year when they hire new employees.  Other companies hire at a regular pace throughout the year.  We never know when a customer will call, but we work with so many different companies that we constantly have new openings.  Our openings are in the following categories:

Clerical     Light Industrial    Management Personnel   Medical Staffing

If you are interested in a certain field, please let us know and we will market you in that particular field until we find a position for you.  Please be sure and give us a copy of your resume if you have one.  This is very helpful for us to keep on file and fax to customers about various openings!  If you do not have the resources available to create a resume, let us know and we will tell you about resources that may be able to assist you in that area.

Will you be charged a fee for our services?   There is never a fee to our employees for services.  The businesses that we work with pay our fees.

Can you choose not to accept a job offer?   You may choose not to accept a job when we call you.  That is perfectly fine!  We understand that sometimes you have other obligations that may hinder you from going directly to a job especially if we have short notice of the opening.  If this is the case, just tell us no.  Our team will continue to call you until we find something that will work for you.

Is Productive Staffing your employer?   While working temporary, no matter how many different job sites we place you at, you will always be an employee of Productive Staffing.  We are responsible for your paychecks, necessary taxes, workers' compensation, unemployment insurance and general liability insurance.  Productive Staffing will issue your W-2's by January 31st of each year.  However, if we place you full-time with a company and you immediately begin on their payroll, then the above would not apply.

Will you be required to take a drug test?   More than likely, YES.  Each company is different.  However, the majority of our clients require pre-employment drug screening.  We promote safe, drug-free work environments.  Anything that we can do to limit accidents and protect your safety is our top priority.

Does Productive Staffing require a high school diploma or G.E.D.?   Some, but not all, of our clients do require a high school diploma or G.E.D.  We have information available in our office about area G.E.D. classes that are free of charge.

Do we check your past job references?  YES, WE DO!  We guarantee to our clients that we have performed a complete background check on every person that we send to work.  It is very important that we know what type of work record that you have built in the past.  Even if the job was short-term, we ask questions about your dependability and eligibility for re-hire.

How soon can I go to work?   It just depends on what type of work you are looking for, how much experience you possess, and what shifts you are available.  It only takes a day or two for us to complete your background checks and if the information that we find is satisfactory then we can begin seeking the perfect job for you!

Do we offer benefits to our workers?  YES, WE DO!  We offer some of the best benefits in the industry so that we can keep great people working for us.  Some of the benefits that are available include: short and long-term medical insurance, holiday pay and vacation pay.

When is our office open?   Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  New Hire orientations are held Monday through Friday at 9am and 12 pm (noon).
